SAD: Four-month-old Rachel tragically fell from her bed and the worst happened

Rachel was born with congenital heart disease, and her path was one of love and fortitude; nevertheless, her life suffered a terrible turn when an unexpected event pushed her close to death from her frail state.

Rachel’s parents faced the most difficult choice of their life while physicians battled nonstop to rescue her. Still, among their loss, they decided to let other children experience Rachel’s unselfish legacy. This is the narrative of Rachel’s brief life turning into a lighthouse of hope for others and of her love surviving in the hearts she helped to preserve.

Tragically, Rachel, four months old, dropped off her bed. She had congenital heart problems, and things quickly got bad. Rachel wanted to live, but she progressively knew she might never see her parents once she was in the ICU. Though in the end they were unable, the physicians tried everything they could to rescue her.

The young parents were heartbroken at their final hope breaking. Her mother made a wise choice seeing her unconscious daughter.

After talking about it, the couple chose to give Rachel’s healthy organs so other kids may enjoy the planet in her stead. People bidding goodbye to Rachel flooded the hall on the day of the donation. The procedure went successfully three hours later, and three youngsters would get her donated organs the following day.

Multiple patients received transplants of Rachel’s heart, liver, kidneys, and other organs, therefore saving their life. Her parents permanently lost their daughter; nobody really knows how they felt. They understood Rachel still lived in another realm, her love and compassion remained on in people who were given fresh lease of life by her.
