Upon arrival at the hospital, the medical professionals diagnosed him with permanent neurological damage due to the prolonged lack of oxygen.

After the accident with Ethan, Jenny felt a range of emotions, including guilt and embarrassment. Jenny neglected to give him the attention he needed since she was too busy working, even though he was a curious kid.
