A security guard is seen pleading with onlookers to assist him in stopping a suspected shoplifter outside a Primark location last week.

They end up wrestling on the pavement of a busy London high street, with the guard being seen violently holding the woman to prevent her from running away.

A bystander who is filming the scene simply laughs in his face and flaunts his KFC meal while the man begs him to help him restrain the woman and “call the police.”

The footage of the event, which happened last week outside the Primark store in Peckham, south London, has gone viral on social media. The security guard was from an adjacent store, not the clothes store, according to a firm spokesperson.
