This girl finds a secret door in her bedroom and opens it while her father watches in tears. Peter K. had been keeping a secret from his daughter for the first six years of her life, and it was destroying him.

He couldn’t wait for her to find out, so he came up with a crazy plan for how she would find out, and he made sure everything went as planned. When the young girl asked her father for some spare change one day, he knew exactly where to find it, but he wasn’t going to do all the work for her; instead, he wanted his daughter to learn how to earn her money by cleaning out an old window box that was unused.

Little did she know what she would discover among the old brass. The little girl entered her room with her father, mother, and grandmother right behind her. When she opened the window box, she noticed that it was dark inside, so she stuck her hand inside in the hopes of finding treasure, but what she found was even more exciting.

She opened the box and realised that it contained a doorknob, which felt cold and metallic. She handed it to her father and then dug into the box once more, convinced that something valuable was inside, and she was right; she found more strange objects inside, then another one; these were all doorknobs. After that, she found something that appeared to be two metal circles and a pole.

At that point, she hadn’t found any treasure yet, but she was enjoying every minute of the hunt, so she stuck her hand inside the box once more, but this time she found something different because he had been planning the surprise adventure.
