After Noticing Bruises on Children, Mom Installs CCTV to Test Nanny
Despite her desire to leave her infant daughter and young son alone with a babysitter, Lena was compelled by circumstances to do otherwise. She never thought she’d come home one day to discover her kids bruised. Lena was enjoying a cup of tea on her front porch on a sunny.
Sunday morning as her husband, Todd, worked in the garage. Everything about the outside world seemed ideal, with the weather being lovely and birds singing happily in the sky.
Belena’s heart was full with anxiety and all the other fears a mother’s heart may have. After her first pregnancy, Lena had taken a leave of absence and was expected to resume her employment.
As any mother would, she now loved her kids, but she didn’t want to give up her successful work. Todd offered they get a nanny when she brought that up to him, but Lena didn’t want that. May was so young and little, and she was aware that her son Jeremy might be a pain at times.
Every time Lena thought about entrusting her kids to a stranger—a nanny—her heart skipped a beat. For the sake of her kids, she was on the verge of putting her career on pause. However, everything changed on a fateful day when they hired a young woman named Bella to nanny their kids.
Todd, I’m needed by the small children. When they talked about hiring a babysitter a week ago, Lena said to Todd, “I can give up the job.” I know you love your profession, and I appreciate your concern for our kids. Come on, Lena,” Todd urged.
However, Jeremy has grown up and is no longer in constant need of his mother. He is four years old. How about May? She is just two years old.
“Hun, I’m not sure if I’m prepared to leave them with a nanny,” Lena remarked. See, Lena, I don’t want you to be one of those ladies who sacrifice their aspirations for their spouse and kids. I assume you understand what I mean.
“I’m a mother now, Todd.” Lena realised she was deceiving herself when she claimed, “I’m more than just a woman who cares about her career.” She had always had high aspirations and wanted to accomplish much more in life than simply raising her kids.
She desired to establish herself. However, the children arrived earlier than she and Todd had anticipated, and her maternal instincts prevented her from thinking about anything but the kids.
“I can’t make you go back to work, but I’d like you to think about it,” Todd finally added. Nannies are employed by a lot of households, and they are not strangers. To be honest, we’ll have their ID and any other data we require.
Over the next two days, Lena gave it some thinking, and she didn’t think it was a horrible idea. Perhaps Todd is correct. The children will be alright. I’m just thinking too much. We’ll pick a reliable candidate.

Todd and Lena selected Bella’s profile after reaching out to several agencies and looking through over thirty profiles.
They believed they could call her quickly in case of an emergency because she lived close by. On Saturday morning, Bella went over to Lena and Todd’s place. Lena felt uneasy since she was a brunette with stunning blue eyes and an oddly endearing grin. However, she dismissed it as the result of her overanalysing mind.
“Nice house, Mrs. Woods,” Bella said, reaching out to Lena and then Todd. “It’s a pleasure to work for you, Mr. and Mrs. Woods.” Lena forced a grin and added, “Nice to meet you, Bella.” Do you want to meet the children? “Oh,” she smiled, “that’s why I’m here.” “I take it you have twin daughters?”
