𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗞𝗢𝗣

Police in Sekgosese have arrested two suspects, aged 38 and 82, in connection with the murder of their 30-year-old male relative who was allegedly poisoned at Lemondokop Village, Limpopo on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.

Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased had been complaining of severe stomach pains and dizziness prior to his death.

He later lost consciousness and was declared dead inside an ambulance while being transported to the local hospital for medical treatment.

During the course of the investigation, it was uncovered that the deceased’s uncle (38) and grandmother (82) had allegedly poisoned him.

Both suspects were subsequently traced and arrested. The inquest docket has since been amended to a case of murder, and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

The suspects are expected to appear before the Kgapane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 04 November 2025, facing charges of murder.
