Police in Limpopo have opened an inquest following the discovery of a human skull protruding from the ground in Chebeng Village, Limpopo.
The discovery was made on Thursday, 31 October 2025, at about 08:00, and the matter was officially reported to the police on Saturday, 1 November 2025, at around 15:00.
According to reports, the police received information about human remains found in the area and immediately proceeded to the scene.
Upon arrival, they were shown what appeared to be a human skull protruding from the ground.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a shallow grave, where the rest of the skeletal remains were found inside a plastic sack. The body was already beyond recognition. Th
