Nicola Sturgeon Calls Nigel Farage “Odious” in New Memoir

Former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has described Reform UK leader Nigel Farage as “odious” in her upcoming memoir Frankly, due to be published later this week.
Speaking to ITV News ahead of the book’s release, the former SNP leader reiterated her remarks, saying she believed Farage had a “very fragile ego” and did not seem “particularly comfortable” around women. Sturgeon clarified that the comments reflected her personal impression of the Brexiteer, adding: “Other people might have a different view of him.”
Nigel Farage, known for his role in the Brexit campaign and leadership of Reform UK, has been a frequent political opponent of the SNP on issues ranging from Scottish independence to EU membership. Sturgeon’s memoir covers her political career, including high-profile debates and rivalries.
Farage has yet to respond publicly to the comments. The book’s publication is expected to draw further attention to Sturgeon’s views on UK political figures and her time in office.
Frankly will be available from now, offering an inside look at Sturgeon’s years as Scotland’s first female First Minister and her perspective on political life in the UK.
