“I’m Not Afraid” — Brown Mogotsi Finally BREAKS SILENCE on Mbalula Clash

Controversial businessman Brown Mogotsi, who has been implicated in the ongoing Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, has taken aim at ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula, urging him to conduct himself “like a proper secretary-general.”
Mogotsi’s comments come after Mbalula publicly stated that Mogotsi’s ANC membership had expired and that the party could not associate itself with individuals accused of wrongdoing. In response, Mogotsi dismissed Mbalula’s remarks as “reckless and politically motivated,” arguing that no formal communication had been made to him by the party regarding his membership status.
Despite the controversy surrounding his alleged connections with crime figure Vusi “Cat” Matlala and Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, Mogotsi says he is prepared to voluntarily step aside from all political activities to allow the investigations to run their course. “I have nothing to hide. My conscience is clear, and I believe in the principle of accountability.
If stepping aside will help the process, I will do so willingly,” he said.Mogotsi’s name surfaced in recent weeks during explosive testimony at the Madlanga Commission, where senior police officials linked him to underworld networks and interference in state affairs.
He has, however, denied any wrongdoing, claiming that his name is being used as part of a smear campaign to settle political scores.Political analysts say Mogotsi’s willingness to step aside may be a strategic move to manage reputational damage amid growing scrutiny. However, it also exposes tensions within the ANC, as the party battles to balance its renewal agenda with factional infighting.
